Moksh as you know is a state that transcends the birth and death cycle to a state of everlasting/lasting peace.
This liberation can perceived through different concepts and espoused by different organised religion.
Karma is an oriental thought stems from the scientific fact established by newtons third law and is visualised in the vast expanse of time and space as established by Einstein.
But the question here is whether Moksha being a state of Inertness and peace do they form part of this creational space or is it beyond the comprehension of space and matter.
Metaphysics has it that it is a place of unboundness as against the boundness of this universe,which we have to search for the space beyond space where matter either lies at peace or where orginates matter and space.
Karma marga commences from this point and terminates here as well.

Fundamental thing is that without doing karma a person will go mad. If he sits idle without doing karma he will become physically weak, lose interst in life. By doing karma he can earn livelyhood. A man can express his work throgh karma. Even thinking creatively is also a sort of karma, meditation is karma, writing a book is karma in the same sence a mason constructiong a wall. Educating others is karma.
ReplyDeleteWe should not disregard western culture for what they achieved throgh hard work again karma. To me materialistic is nothing but first step toeards karma. Being materialistic should not be seen by Indians as worthless since western world has conquered hunger by doing so. And the first step towards moksha goes through material world.
Vivekanand has once said only western world has right to Vedanta and not Indians.
The so called karma sindhant is neglected in India from long that is why 50% of the Indians are hungry.

ReplyDeleteIn Meta-physics we deal with a higher plane of consciousness, probably neglecting the bottom-line of food,shelter and clothing...we talk about very existence and the cause and consequence of a state of matter.Well this covers the underlying need and the relevant apathy(avastha),which is why it is on a meta-plane.
Karma as you have realised is in no way different or rival to the meta-concepts but sublimes in the thought process,probably that is why consciousness at that level can be had from a higher perspectives.
All the visionaries like the Buddha,Mahavira,Krishna Ram did understand the base of the sufferings on earth....Karma in a form of thought , words and deeds are revolving around creation whether we like it or not and that is boundness as distinct from abound state.
To think about one Body(physical state)and one very existence is a state of meta-thinking.
Probably you had addressed the bottomline.
Karma is definitely practised by individuals in the East,and Success is not what you see or perceive it is a state of Happiness and peace.
Probably a contrast in India which you would not see in the west is the human values....The Poor in this country by far exist better happiness than the rich ,this would be devoid in the west.the reason is the fact that they are brain washed with Meta-physics of controlling the senses.
